Renew PT 2013 Better Orgasm Guide

In our line of work, we see countless patients with various types of pelvic floor conditions. Over time, we have definitely found correlations among pelvic floor symptoms and our patient’s abilty to achieve orgasm or to heighten the intensity of the orgasm. As we begin this new year, we wanted to post some of our best techniques and information that we have found through clinical experience that will help you achieve and strengthen your orgasm. We all deserve to have mind expanding orgasms, so continue reading and let’s work together towards this achievable goal in 2013.

Top Techniques For Improving Orgasm From the Perspective of the Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist

1- Strengthen your pelvic floor muscles: The stronger your pelvic floor muscles the stronger your orgasms will be. Many time lack of orgasms is related to pelvic floor muscle weakness and muscle in-coordination ( the ability to contract and relax the pelvic floor muscles). Do your kegel exercises on a daily basis. Come in and see us at Renew Physical Therapy for a for a Pelvic Floor Muscle Wellness check-up and we will put you on a pelvic strengthening program that will help you achieve better orgasms and better pelvic health.

2- Keep your pelvic region flexible: The Renew Pelvic Clock exercise will enhance your orgasms by increasing flexibility, increasing chi and blood flow to your pelvic area. The pelvic clock exercise can be done in standing, sitting or laying down. Imagine a big clock laying on your belly and imagine making pelvic circles around the clock. Now move your pelvis around the clock and emphasize the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions on your body.

You are moving your pelvis in a circular motion. The pelvic clock circles are easier when they are performed within a small range and more difficult to do when the circles are performed in a larger range. Start out with small circles and progress to bigger circles. Do 10 clockwise pelvic circles and 10 counter clockwise circles. This is one set. Do 1 to 3 sets as tolerated. 3- Breathe naturally and keep your pelvic floor muscles relaxed: Avoid holding your breath and clenching your pelvic floor muscles at the point of orgasms. Reverse kegels the opposite of kegels is a relaxation kegel. This is the kegel you want to focus on as you are orgasming. Let everything go at the point of orgasm so that your orgasm becomes a full body sensation. Vocalization during orgasms can help release more body tension and create a more full body orgasm.

4- Pressure point on the external G-Spot: Gently pressing on the Anterior Commisure (the area above the clitoral hood, in the groove where the labia majora meet) of the vulva will strengthen and lengthen your orgasms, as this area is filled with many nerve endings. Stimulating this area will lead to better orgasms.
You can also place your vibrator here when masturbating but make sure its on low intensity. You don’t want to hurt any of these nerve ending.

5- Find your G-Spot: The G-spot does exist all you have to do is find it. At Renew Physical Therapy we feel that many have trouble finding the G-spot because the pelvic floor muscles are compromised by either being too tight or too weak. When the pelvic floor muscles are not in great shape there is a lack of blood flow to the G- spot area. The G-spot is composed of erectile tissue and the more blood flow to the pelvic floor muscles the easier it is to locate and stimulate. To locate the G-spot, face your partner while she is lying on her back and gently insert your index or long middle finger into her vagina as far as it will easily go. Then crook it up toward your pubic bone/ceiling direction in a “come hither” motion, sliding your fingertip along the top of the vagina until you find an area that is rougher than the rest of the vaginal wall. Avoid the bladder which feels mushy and soft and is more centrally located. The G-spot feels more like small capellini noodles cooked aldente style that are close to each other creating a band like structure which feels rougher and not as soft as the bladder. For a mind blowing orgasm have your partner stimulate your G-spot as you stimulate your clitoris. Ladies remember you can also locate your own G-spot with either your finger or a G-spot stimulator like the crystal wand (we sell these at Renew PT) and use the instructions listed above. To stimulate your own G-spot strum it gently like a guitar. If you are having trouble locating your G-spot. Do not hesitate to come and see us for a
