Pelvic Floor Kegel Weights – 6 Fully Assembled Weights
Kegel Exercise Weights are easy to use and they offer several advantages over other weight sets: 1) they require no assembly or reassembly when you want to increase or decrease the weight you exercise with. 2) there are six weights – more than in any other vaginal weight set on the market. 3) Pelvic Floor Exercise Weights have a large weight range (20 to 95 grams), which is important since most women like to exercise with lower weights in the evening when the pelvic floor is tired. You should expect this training program to take 1-2 months of consistent participation to achieve significant results which may include reduced urine leakage and improved sexual pleasure. Please remember to discuss issues of incontinence with your physical therapist at Renew PT before beginning a training program with Kegel Exercise Weights. Some forms of incontinence may not be improved by strengthening your pelvic floor muscles.
Foam Rollers are great for balance exercises, stability exercises, strength training, home exercise, stress reduction, and triggerpoint and myfascial release. Rollers can be used effectively in many positions – supine, prone, sitting, kneeling, lying on your side, or standing. We recommend all of our patients start rolling their pain away immediately once their conditions are less acute.
Check out some basic exercises with the foam roller here. There is also an amazing foam roller workout found in Isa Herrera’s GREAT book Ending Female Pain, A Woman’s Manual

The Squatty Potty helps you to eliminate faster and more complete by putting your body into a natural squatting position over your own toilet. Using the Squatty Potty during elimination will un-kink your rectum taking your body from a continent mode to an elimination mode. This will speed up the elimination process therefore reducing the risk of toxic build up of fecal matter left in your colon. Quite possibly every female over the age of 12 will find this huge book enlightening, pain saving, and perhaps even lifesaving. Northrup is a gynecologist who acknowledges the power of natural therapies and herbs, but also maintains that allopathic treatments, including surgery, are sometimes best. In Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom, she covers the treatment of many physical concerns–among them PMS, menstrual cramps, breast cancer, fibroids, endometriosis, infertility, depression, childbirth, abortion, cystitis, and menopause–explaining how many of these physical problems have roots in emotional upsets. Ending Female Pain by Isa Herrera is mentioned as a resource in this newly updated women’s health bible.

Though we talk about wanting to “age gracefully,” the truth is that when it comes to getting older, we’re programmed to dread an inevitable decline: in our health, our looks, our sexual relationships, even the pleasure we take in living life. But as Christiane Northrup, M.D., shows us in this profoundly empowering book, we have it in us to make growing older an entirely different experience, both for our bodies and for our souls.
In chapters that blend personal stories and practical exercises with the latest research on health and aging, Dr. Northrup lays out the principles of ageless living, from rejecting processed foods to releasing stuck emotions, from embracing our sensuality to connecting deeply with our Divine Source. Explaining that the state of our health is dictated far more by our beliefs than by our biology, she works to shift our perceptions about getting older and show us what we are entitled to expect from our later years—no matter what our culture tries to teach us to the contrary
